Did you know that…

The Provision of Personnel (Accreditation) Act (or ‘WTTA’) is likely to take effect on 1 January 2027?

…from that point on a duty of accreditation will apply ?

…the introduction of this act is conditional on the approval of the Dutch Lower and the Upper House?

…from that point on undertakings may only recruit workers from companies listed in the public
register?

…a transitional scheme applies to employment agencies that already hold an NEN-certificate? The transitional scheme employment means that agencies must register before the end of 2025, and file the definitive application by the spring of 2026? As from 1 January 2027 these employment agencies may continue to provide workers even before a WTTA inspection was carried out?

To use the transitional scheme, suppliers are advised to take the following steps:

STEP 1
Go to the website of the Labour Standards Register (https://www.normeringarbeid.nl/labour-standards-register) and apply for an SNA certificate if your company has not done so already.

STEP 2
Register between 1 November 2025 and 1 January 2026 to indicate that your company will apply for accreditation and is making preparations.

STEP 3
Apply for the actual accreditation between 1 May 2026 and 1 July 2026 and make sure that your company will have an inspection report or SNA certificate by then.
